Are The Commanders A Good Team Or Am I Just Delusional?

The Commanders are legit. I do not really care what anyone is saying, I get they lost the last two games, and the Bills game was ugly. But I am here to tell you this team is a playoff team and may even win a game or two in the playoffs. I mean everyone looks at the Eagles as this prolific team that no one can stop because of their “explosive offense” (no it’s not) and their great defense (it’s not anymore). I mean if they are the team to beat in the NFC and the Commanders almost beat them, I have to say the Commanders are legit. They have been playing some good and close games minus Buffalo which was a fluke game, but I am here to tell you they are a frisky team. Give them one or two years and they might even be super bowl bound. They are building something special in Washington.

Sam Howell also might be legit. I mean he is balling out for basically rookie QB play. He played a few games last season, but to make the strides he has made in the first couple starts of a career, he seems like a good QB. I won’t sit here and tell you the kid is the next big thing and best QB in the NFL, but I think he is going to have a good career in the NFL. I mean he is a game manager and sometimes that is really all you need to have to win a super bowl. I feel like tonight is going to be a career game for Sam Howell and I think it is going to be in a good way. If Sam Howell walks into tonight’s game and lays a stinker I will release an apology tomorrow for my words in this article. I mean you absolutely cannot lay a stinker against the Chicago Bears. The Chicago Bears are the worst team in the NFL and if you can’t muster up a game to at least match the game you had against the Eagles then you simply are not a good QB. I mean the Bears made Russell Wilson look good again. Sam Howell can’t allow this to happen tonight. It has to be a blowout in Washington.

I know this sounds like I am just a Commanders fan, and I will say I used to be when RGIII was on the team, but I just think that this is a team that could go far. I mean they just look like a solid team. They would be 3-1 right now if Riverboat Ron stayed true to himself and took a gamble for the two-point conversion. They are a good team, not a great team, but a good team. Are they contenders this year? Absolutely not. Next year? Probably not, but I just think they will be competitive until they get the pieces they need on defense and build a little bit better of an offensive line.
