CJ Stroud Is By Far The Best QB From The Last Draft Class

CJ Stroud is legit, and I did not expect that to happen at all. I mean over the past 3 games the dude has just been ballin out. Ohio State QBs in my opinion never pan out in the NFL because they are so used to having WRs being wide open every single play and have big plays every down, but for this kid it feels different, and he is proving it. I mean if we take a look at Justin Fields, he can’t make the easy throws, he is only a down field threat and that is not that threatening in the NFL. The defensive backs are too good to allow something downfield to be open. Whereas in college that would happen a lot more often and that’s how these kids got recruited. CJ Stroud on the other hand is making everything just look easy. He can make the easy throws, he can make the downfield big-time throws, he hasn’t started making any big mistakes yet. He is just a rookie so there will be a learning curve to everything, but so far, he looks like a stud.

I mean he is bringing the Texans back to relevancy. The Bears should be jealous. They had the second pick in the draft and did not care at all because they knew they were getting the kid they wanted. The Panthers look dumb and every other team that didn’t at least try to trade up for this kid looks dumb as well. Knowing that Ohio State QBs did not pan out well in the NFL I thought the Texans just bought into the hype, but I was absolutely wrong. They are building something special down there in Houston and I can’t wait to see how it turns out. They have the QB that every single franchise wishes they could get their hands on, they have the coaching staff that actually looks very competent for once, and they have the weapons on offense to make winning actually happen. This is a very exciting team that we haven’t seen since the predator (Deshaun Watson) was there. The only thing stopping this team is going to be their defense and that could be fixed with one good draft class and a free agency, so watch out for the Texans.

Just to talk about the Texans vs Steelers game a little bit, what did people expect to happen? Kenny Pickett is literally terrible. He might be in the top 5 worst QBs in the NFL right now. I mean he is just another guy that goes through his progressions and can’t hit the open guy. You have to have a certain level of confidence to be a good QB in the NFL and a lot of guys do not have that in fear they are going to make a mistake. They do not trust their instincts at all. That is why it was obvious that the Texans were going to come away with a win in this game. They are just flat out better than the Steelers now, you look at the Texans and just assume they aren’t a good team anymore and that is just not the case. The only thing the Steelers have going for them is a few guys on defense and that’s about it. They really do not have anything else. They are just a team opposite of the Texans and people just automatically assume they are good. I mean Pickett couldn’t even through a TD against the Texans, please tell me how people are still defending this guy.
