Dame Time in Miami?

I have already made a TikTok on this matter but GOOD LORD I NEED THIS TO HAPPEN. I have been waiting for the day Jimmy Butler gets a legitimate scorer on his team and that day may come very, very soon. Damian Lillard to the Heat is like a match made in heaven. They would be able to give him the resources he needs to improve on his defense a little bit and no one would want to take the ball out of his hands if he is feeling it that night. Heat culture would turn this man into an animal you do not want to see on the court. You would have two of the most notorious clutch players on the same team and that would be SCARY for other teams.

I have always said the Heat need a player who can consistently drop 30 or 40 on any given night. Dame brings that to the table. He brings in the consistent offense the Heat have always needed and definitely needed throughout that final’s series. If he really does end up with them there is no doubt in my mind that they will become the favorites for the NBA finals and win it easily. I mean plus you get rid of Tyler Herro in the trade, which I know some people are going to disagree with me on it, but he is just flat out not good. The only thing that man does that is good is take 20 shots a night, he is amazing at that. Now do not get me wrong the lack of pics over the years will hurt, and I know other teams will be hurting when Duncan Robinson is not guarding them like a sack of potatoes but obviously this trade is worth it. I think you can get two rings from it easily. The guy is a difference maker, he makes sure that he leaves it all on the court and doesn’t want anything to do with losing. He has Heat player written all over him with that.

The risk to reward ratio on this trade (arguably for both teams) is too good to pass up in my opinion. I saw the offer and it was 4 first rounders and 3 swaps, Tyler Herro, and Duncan Robinson. I told you I do not like either of those players but if we are being honest here the years of those picks and swaps are probably going to be pretty fantastic because Jimmy Butler and Dame are both getting older, so this is a very win now situation for the Heat and this is the perfect player for them to pull the trigger on.
